I'm glad that the Raelians are behind this first apparent birth of a human clone. I cannot think of a single thing that will provide more ammunition to those who oppose human cloning than the fact that the Raelians--a group whose flakeyness is the only thing other-worldly about them--are behind the first cloned human.

President Chavez, Good. President Reagan, Bad.

I see that President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela is threatening to replace striking workers of the national oil company. This kind of behavior was utterly condemned by the lefties when President Reagan fired (illegally) striking PATCO air traffic controllers. I somehow doubt the left will denounce their darling in Caracas when he threatens to replace those (legally) striking to protest their government.
