Workers of the World, Unite!

This is the best description of modern leftism I've yet read. And it is this, not radical Islam, which is the long-term threat to Western Civilization.
...And the Children Shall Lead

The Cal Patriot wasn't this much fun when I was at Berkeley.

"Later, when asked if she could name the president of Iraq, Celia, stumped, turned to a friend and asked, 'Is it a boy or a girl?' Her friend, equally puzzled, responded, 'I think it’s a boy.'"

The People, United, Shall Never Be Defeated

Joe Conason, ever the gentleman, holds the view that Georgia voters are nothing but a bunch of suckers. No doubt if they voted to keep Max Cleland and Roy Barnes, the voters would have proven they were smart enough to see through the Republican charade.

At their best, the Left can be charming (and right!) in their belief that the People are the font of political power. At their worst, which is usually after even the smallest victory by the Right, their contempt for the average American cannot be missed.

This is fine with me, because the longer the Left blames the voters, the longer it will take them to turn the tide.
